Shipping
Regular orders are F.O.B. Newcastle warehouse and shipped freight prepaid with costs added to final invoice. If shipments are to be sent collect please advise and provide appropriate courier account numbers. Lost or damaged shipments are the responsibility of the receiving party and the bill of lading information will be provided upon request. Ownership of goods passes from us to you upon leaving our warehouse. It is important to check all shipments for damage upon receipt and if evidence of such, have the driver sign both copies of freight bill. You should then promptly file a freight claim for damage or shortage with the carrier. Do not destroy packaging until inspection by the carrier’s agent. Shortages must be reported to Central East Farm Supply within 2 days.
Freight Program
Central East Farm Supply will pay the freight on the first 70lbs on prepaid surface shipments prepaid by a courier of our choice for orders over $750.00, truck shipments 1500.00. Our free freight program is available to accounts which are current and in good standing only. Any additional charges by courier for Non-conveyable, C.O.D, residential, or special handling etc. will be charged at the rate imposed by the courier. ***Freight will be recharged if account becomes in arrears or if product is returned decreasing the invoice below the minimum value. Freight program does not apply to, on hold in-stock orders, drop shipped orders, special ordered items or back orders, on hold-in stock orders will be shipped after 5 business days. Back orders will be shipped when received.
Parts Orders
Central East Farm Supply cannot be responsible for errors made on verbal orders or orders made by description. Catalogues and our website www.ca.sparex.com are provided to assist in order preparation. We will do all we can to help you choose the right part for the job but cannot take responsibility for choosing what you need. It is the responsibility of the installing mechanic to check components before, and during installation. Special order items are non-returnable.
Back Orders
Back orders will be filled as soon as merchandise is received by us, unless cancelled by customer. Please advise us of any cancellations immediately.
Drop Shipments
Drop Shipments to a third party are subject to $5.00 surcharge.
Payments
Invoices are due by the 15th of the month following purchase. A service charge of 2% per month (24% per annum) will be applied to all past due accounts and is due when rendered. Accounts in arrears over 60 days will be placed on C.O.D. Payment by credit card is accepted only at time of transaction. Payment by credit card on account is not permitted.
A fee of $30.00 will be charged on all NSF cheques. Payment by ETF or e-transfer is available, please call for banking information, and be sure to advise of payments by email [email protected].
Returns
Returns will be accepted under the following conditions only and must have an RGA. To receive an RGA please provide part number and invoice number part was purchased on. Only part numbers on the RGA will be credited. Returned parts not listed on the RGA will not be credited and will either be returned at customer’s expense or scrapped.
*Freight will be recharged if account becomes in arrears or if product is returned decreasing the value of a free freight order below $750.00 or the Truck freight orders of $1500.00. *
Electrical items are not returnable.
Shipping Errors - Parts and freight will be credited.
Warranty - A replacement will be sent out freight is dealer responsibility.
Request for returns will be considered on an individual basis. Freight is the responsibility of the customer. Purchase invoice number must be referenced.
• Returns within the 14 days of purchase – 0%
• Returns after 14 days of purchase – 15%
• Returns after 30 days - 30%
• Returns after 3 months will only be given upon acceptance.
Special order items are non-returnable.
We reserve the right to refuse any return where items have been installed, used, or modified. Original packaging must accompany all returns and must be in resalable condition.
Credits
Credit will be applied to the customer’s account after receipt and verification of parts returned.
No cash refund on returned parts. Credit notes must be used within 1 year from issue date
General Warranty
Sparex Canada/Central East Farm Supply warranties most items distributed by them to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of one year from date of purchase. We reserve the right to inspect any item prior to granting warranty. We pledge our support in obtaining settlement of reasonable and justifiable claims.
Sparex Canada/Central East Farm Supply will not be liable for any damages resulting in injuries, such as loss of time, labour, crops, profits, and rentals due to warranted parts.
Warranty does not extend beyond the point of installation.
It is the responsibility of the installing mechanic to check components before, and during installation.
Items not covered by General Warranty
• Electrical (Starters, Alternators, & Coils, Air conditioning condensers) Electrical warranty is 90 days from date of purchase. Electrical parts are warranted only against manufacturers defect only.
• Seats - Limited warranty on “economy seat range”
• Spindles & Front Support - These are not covered by warranty when installed on tractors with loaders.
• All Pumps – Returned pumps will be checked by our technical department. Any pump found with contamination inside will not be warranted. Any pump found to have a blown seal due to incorrect installation or rotation in the wrong direction will not be warranted. Any pump found to have been taken apart will not be warranted unless done so with prior authorization.
• Pistons, Rings, or Liners - ordered without the overhaul kit are not warranted since we cannot be assured of the quality of your other components.
• Damage caused by normal wear, lack of proper maintenance, misuse, proper protection during storage, Accidents, collisions, vandalism, fire, theft
While every effort has been made to ensure the information in the catalogues and on the website is correct, Sparex Canada/Central East Farm Supply cannot be held responsible for any errors. We have many resourced available to us and will assist with looking up the correct parts, but as we do not have the machine in front of us, are not responsible for errors in selecting the correct part for your job.
